Terms of service
These terms govern your use of swiftclick.co.uk and the SwiftClick website builder for UK businesses.
Agreement
These terms govern your use of the SwiftClick website builder and hosting service operated by SwiftClick (The Code Bureau). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The service
SwiftClick provides tools to create, edit, and publish a website for your business, including hosting on a SwiftClick subdomain or connected custom domain where available.
Features may change as we improve the product. Demo and beta features are provided as-is.
Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
You must be at least 18 and authorised to act for the business you register.
Your content
You own the content you upload (text, images, logos). You grant us a licence to host, display, and process that content solely to provide the Service.
You must not upload unlawful, misleading, or infringing material. You are responsible for ensuring your site complies with trade regulations, advertising standards, and any licences required for your industry.
Fees & billing
Paid plans are billed monthly (or as stated at checkout) via our payment provider. Prices include VAT where applicable unless stated otherwise.
You may cancel anytime; cancellation stops future charges. Refunds are at our discretion except where required by law.
We may change pricing with notice; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use the Service for illegal activity, spam, or malware
- Attempt to breach security or overload our systems
- Resell the platform without written agreement
- Misrepresent SwiftClick as your own product
Availability & support
We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance and third-party outages may occur.
Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis during UK business hours unless a higher tier is agreed.
Liability
The Service is provided subject to applicable consumer rights. For business users, our total liability for claims arising from the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, except where liability cannot be limited by law (including death, personal injury, or fraud).
We are not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, or issues caused by third-party services you connect.
Ending the agreement
You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or pose risk to the platform.
On termination you may export content within a grace period we specify; thereafter we may delete hosted data.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to your statutory rights if you are a consumer in another UK nation.
